Beaumiel Honeycomb
$35.00
**** We are temporarily out of stock but our ladies are working on more and we should have some by mid September*****
There is very little I can take credit for here, and that is rather the point.
Each comb begins as an empty square of wood, slipped into the hive and left entirely to the bees. What comes back is a small masterpiece: thousands of perfect wax cells filled with liquid gold and capped with a delicacy no human could ever manage. We don't cut it, press it, or fuss with it. We simply lift the frame, box it, and tie the ribbon. The bees do everything else.
And every bit of it is edible. Spoon a piece over warm buttered toast and watch it slowly give way. Let it melt into burrata, crown a cheeseboard, or serve it just as it is, one gleaming square, a knife, and no apologies. Yes, it is a rather sticky situation. That's half the pleasure.
This is our very first year offering honeycomb, and the bees made precious few. Each frame is one of a kind, weighed, labeled, and numbered by hand. When they're gone, they're gone until next season.
